Recipe: Spicy Asian Peanut Dipping Sauce

This sauce is good with just about anything, from meat, to starch, to vegetables—you name it.

• ¾ cup peanut butter
    • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
    • 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
    • 1 clove garlic, grated
    • 2 tablespoons Sriracha or chili paste
    • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
    • juice of half a lemon
    • water

Combine all ingredients except water and mix well to combine. Add water a little at a time, mixing until you've reached your desired consistency. I like it to be somewhere around the consistency of whipped cream, but this is up to you. Taste at this point and adjust for heat (by adding Sriracha or chili paste), salt (soy sauce), and acidity (lemon juice), depending on your preference.
